Lotto Fraudsters Under Attack By EOCO And NLA

Ghana’s Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) has joined forces with National Lottery Authority to battle activities of fraudsters working in the system.

The NLA has therefore waged a massive war against fraudsters who under the pretense of being workers of the organization, and have been swindling guiltless Ghanaians and the Authority while others work without the essential licenses.

This campaign has prompted the arrest of many people in different parts of the country who are presently being arraigned in the law courts.

There has been an increasing number of fraudsters working in the system denying the country of huge resources, accordingly the two organizations (EOCO and NLA) are ready to streak out these hoodlums working within the space of the NLA.

As per the two organizations, the government of Ghana is losing lots of money because of the activities of these lotto fraudsters which straightforwardly and by implication affect the image of the institution. Especially as the NLA desires to surpass its economic objective, which will assist with driving the government’s formative plan in 2022.

Now, the intelligence section of the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) with sophisticated technology will ensure that fraudsters within the system are not only flashed out but are dealt with within the precincts of the law.
