Man City’s Julian Alvares Is Moving To Atletico Madrid!

Manchester City has agreed to sell off Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid. Last season, the 24-year-old striker struggled to establish himself in the City team.

Alvarez has previously stated that he wants to participate in more games with high stakes. He was initially piqued Chelsea’s interest.

Atletico Madrid has concurred a deal with Manchester City worth an underlying €75million (£64m) for Julian Alvarez, which will see him leave Manchester City only over two years after his appearance from River Plate in 2022.

The striker’s huge fees could ascend as high as €95m (£81m) with performance-based add-ons.

Alvarez is thought to be motivated by a move that would allow him to play more minutes, despite the fact that City, the English champions, were keen to keep the Argentine star.

One of Alvarez’s most ardent admirers is Diego Simeone, but the 24-year-old had previously attracted interest from a number of elite teams, including rivals Chelsea in the Premier League.

However, Atletico Madrid’s interest has increased recently, with the club even considering adding Joao Felix as a “makeweight” to expedite the transaction.

Alvarez was open about his desire to get involved in high-stakes conflicts, even though he finished the season as one of City’s players with the most minutes played.

Atletico’s move for Alvarez is the most recent move in what has been a bustling seven day stretch of business for the LaLiga side, with the club during the time spent bringing Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to the Spanish capital for £33.7m.
