Megan Thee Stallion has sued YouTuber Milagro Gramz, accusing her of spreading damaging misinformation about the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting case.
The rapper sued Gramz for leading a campaign of cyberbullying and harassment.
Megan, who is well-known for her vocal activism prowess, is taking this legal action to deal with what she calls “countless attacks on her character” from people on social media who misrepresent themselves as trustworthy sources.
According to Megan’s legal filing, Gramz was planning a “public campaign to denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements” about her, particularly in relation to the shooting case.
Megan’s attorney, Alex Spiro, filed a lawsuit against Quinn Emanuel on Wednesday. In it, he claims that the YouTuber has been spreading “untrue and damaging stories,” which Megan says have had a big impact on her personal and professional reputation.
The main claim is that Gramz has allegedly worked to undermine Megan’s credibility by acting as Tory Lanez’s “mouthpiece.”
Megan’s team claims in the lawsuit that the rapper has suffered greatly emotionally as a result of Gramz’s repeated statements.
Megan Thee asserts that these individuals need to be aware that recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods will result in consequences.
Additionally, Megan’s team contends that Gramz’s specific claims are not only false but also intentionally harmful.
Gramz has allegedly publicly stated that Megan was never shot during the incident and that crucial evidence, specifically the firearm, was lost in court.
The firearm remains in the Los Angeles Police Department’s custody, which Megan’s legal team claims is “reckless” misinformation.
Also, Megan’s lawyers say that Gramz shared explicit “deepfake” content online. Megan says the video is fake and hurts her character and public image.
Gramz “willfully and maliciously promoted the Deepfake Video” without Megan’s consent, according to court documents.

In a post on X (previously Twitter), Gramz acknowledged the lawsuit, writing,
“I’m being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion.”
The shooting that involved Tory Lanez took place in July 2020 is the genesis of the legal dispute that Megan and Gramz are engaged in.
Lanez was found guilty in December 2022 of a number of related felony charges, and he was later given a ten-year prison term in August 2023.
