On Sunday night, Megan Thee Stallion’s spirited Coachella concert abruptly came to an end when her microphone was turned off toward the end of her act. After missing out on some of the rapper’s lyrics and songs, fans appeared to be furious.
One of the day’s most highly paid acts was Stallion. When the incident happened, she was already performing a vibrant, guest-filled concert on stage, including her big songs, including Bigger in Texas, Thot Shit, Savage, Ungrateful, and Body.
She was only finishing up her well-known tune, “Big Ole Freak,” and had previously dazzled in her duets with Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét, and Ciara when she was silenced.
The audience were suddenly perplexed since Stallion’s voice was silent—no sound was audible. Some yelled Megan’s name in the hopes that the show would go on, while others responded with jeers.
Her microphone appeared to cut off entirely at approximately 9:27 p.m., which is two minutes past her time slot. The Mamushi visuals vanished, and a regular stage camera took their place.

Meg continued despite the silence. She complained after her microphone was taken off.
“Don’t y’all do the hotties like that,” adding, “Run Mamushi back for the motherf—king hotties.”
“B*tch, they said we have to go!” she cried later on stage. She danced and sung with her team without any music, and they performed the act with obvious confusion.
After about a minute, Megan Thee Stallion and her crew were forced to leave the stage, despite their initial protests. Approximately 20 minutes into her previous set, the rapper had experienced a technical issue. She nevertheless persisted in giving a thrilling performance in spite of the challenges.
