Meghan Markle Was A Special Speaker At Oprah Winfrey’s Book Club Session

Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey

Meghan Markle spoke at her dear companion Oprah Winfrey’s book club session in California where her husband’s dubious memoire ‘Spare’ was gladly in plain view.

The Duchess was one of the speakers who addressed the audience at Goodmothers, a Summerland bookstore and gathering space that is just a few miles from her Montecito home.

Numerous stars, including actor Marco Leone and teacher and psychic medium Laura Lynne Jackson, attended the star-studded event.

Goodmothers, which is co-owned by literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, recently held a number of events and “conversations” with authors and celebrities to celebrate its grand opening weekend.

The book shop seems, by all accounts, to be promoting many famous celebrity books including Meghan’s childrens’ book ‘The Bench’ and King Harry’s journal, which can be found in the shop, on its ‘old hometown heroes’ rack.

The present crowd described Meghan Markle as a “light-filled speaker” during her speech at the book event.

The shelf also contains “The Bench,” a 2021 children’s picture book by Meghan.

Oprah Winfrey Is 70 Years!

Interestingly, Meghan lives in a similar city as Winfrey, consequently being invited to the Oprah’s book club session was nothing peculiar.

Winfrey has been a good friend with Meghan for quite a while at this point and was even a guest at the illustrious wedding in May 2018.

Their relationship has throughout the long term grown much stronger and bigger after the Sussexes moved into a $14million Montecito manor, which is found simply a short distance from Oprah’s own rambling home.
