Mensah Thompson, Executive Director of the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), has demanded the termination of the Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL)— Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare in an interview on Peace FM’s morning show on April 11, 2025.
The company’s management techniques, which Thompson feels have resulted in inefficiencies and a drop in service quality, were the source of his demand.
Thompson stressed the importance of accountability and asked the appointing authorities to move quickly to rebuild public trust in the GACL’s activities during his appearance on Peace FM’s “Kokorokoo” Morning Show.
The ASEPA Director claims that Mrs. Yvonne Opare staying with the company will hinder its advancement in numerous ways.
