The expansion of Mercedes-Benz’s R&D presence in China is crucial to the company. At the Research and Development (R&D) Center in Shanghai, Mercedes-Benz opened a new office comprising advanced hardware and software facilities designed to accelerate digital innovation.

This new office will join with the two existing Research and development centres in Beijing to support the development of network, digitalisation and computerized driving features.
