Former American professional Heavyweight fighter, Mike Tyson turned 54 yesterday, as he celebrated the day with an image of him on Instagram once upon a time when he began his boxing profession.
Born Michael Gerard Tyson, the ‘wild’ fighter began his boxing career in 1985 with heaps of controversial fights including the one he had with Evander Holyfield, that got the world talking.
This was the match that got Holyfield’s ear nibbled by the ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
Tyson ruled as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990 and was the only heavyweight fighter to all the while hold the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight fighter to progressively bind them together.
‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was born on 30th June, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York, United States.
Commending this day, many people wished him well including actress Halle Berry.
She posted an image of herself and Mike Tyson all clad in white clothing types to celebrate the day.
