Actor Jamie Foxx, will play Mike Tyson in a limited series, which is named, “Tyson,” and Martin Scorsese. The project is set to be executive produced by the boxer, a source close to Tyson has affirmed.
The series had initially been planned as a film featuring Jamie Foxx, who won an Oscar for playing Ray Charles in the 2004 film, “Bray.” The series, which is written by Colin Preston, will narrate Tyson’s extraordinary biography and how he made boxing history at only 20 years of age.
As indicated by Mike Tyson, he has been hoping to tell his story for a long while now. With the new launch of ‘Legends Only League’ and the joy from fans following his return to the ring, Tyson currently feels that it is the ideal time to produce this series.
He in this manner, anticipates working together with Martin, Antoine, Jamie, and the whole creative team to bring audiences a series that not only captures his professional and personal journey but also inspires and entertains.
The series is not currently attached to a network or streaming service. Tyson and his wife Kiki will also be the executive producers.
