‘Obiara NteSe Wo’ was taken from Hymns in the Christian Book of scriptures, which is known for inspiring and praiseworthy words. The purpose of the song which when translated means “No One Like You” is to praise the Living God.
Mimie Tenkorang has been singing for many years, supporting a number of artists, including Sonnie Badu, a gospel legend, and Joe Mettle. She did, however, work for Joe Mettle for longer than any other backing musician.
Mimie went solo two years ago, to additionally explore her actual singing ability. She has released five EPs already as a gospel singer on her own.
