Miss Ghana 2025: Ama Pokuah Is The Winner

Following an exciting grand finale at the Avenue Event Centre in Accra on March 29, Jutta Ama Pokuah Addo was named Miss Ghana 2025.

The 20-year-old University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) student, who was representing the Central Region, won the coveted title after wowing the judges with her persuasiveness and eloquence. ​

Artists including Acoustic Frey, Lucya, Okyeame Kwame, and a few others performed. Together with MC Mikay, Miss Ghana 2020 Monique Mawulawe hosted the event. ​

The first runner-up was Maud Anti Oduro, while the second runner-up was Melissa Mintah. Additionally, Jutta Addo was named Miss Photogenic and Miss Social Media/Voting. This May, Ama Pokuah will compete for Ghana in the 72nd Miss World competition in India. ​

Maud Anti Oduro won the title of Most Beautiful Skin, while Emmanuella Kudjordji was named Miss Fitness and Miss Top Model. Melissa Mintah won Miss Congeniality, while Priscilla Nutornutsi was named the Most Disciplined contestant. Stella Saka was named Miss Talent, and Theresa Weyerane was named Miss Eloquence.

For their significant social endeavors, Melissa Mintah, Jutta Addo, Naa Ayeley Hammond, and Nana Adjoa Enninful were given the Miss Beauty With a Purpose award. ​

Madam Akumaa Mama Zimbi, Madam Marian Gebara, Mr. Nicholas Anambah (Nicoline GH), and Mr. Amar Deep S. Hari (IPMC) served as the event’s judges. ​

Jutta Addo’s triumph opens the door for her to become an ambassador for Ghana, leading charitable initiatives under the Miss Ghana Foundation and representing the nation on the global stage. ​
