
Following an incredible evening that united people worldwide in a celebration of beauty, environmental and social care, and international sisterhood in India, Miss Thailand was named the Queen of the World.
After a magnificent grand finale at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Opal Suchata is the 72nd Miss World. 108 competitors from all over the world took part in immersive cultural experiences, charitable challenges, and purpose-driven projects during the month-long journey across Telangana, which came to a powerful end that evening.
The event turned Hyderabad into a global stage of unity and elegance, highlighting the state’s warmth, rich legacy, and rising prominence as a cultural and international hub. Telangana hosted the 72nd Miss World Festival for the first time, and India for the third time (after 1996 and 2024).
The evening’s great conclusion, which honored womanhood in her most powerful form, was a magnificent fusion of aspirations, diversity, and commitment.
Krystyna Pyszková, the 71st Miss World from Czechia, crowned Opal Suchata and handed the title to her successor with grace.
As the freshly crowned 72nd Miss World 2025 stood dazzling, exhibiting the qualities of compassion, confidence, and a strong sense of purpose, the crowning moment was greeted with tremendous acclaim.
The pageant was a celebration of beauty beyond appearances; emphasizing intelligence, advocacy, and social impact. The finale, which was co-hosted by Stephanie del Valle, Miss World 2016, and Indian television host Sachiin Kumbhar, was exquisitely compiled.
After the introduction of the 108 delegates, the Top 40 quarterfinalists—ten from each of the continents of Africa, the Americas & Caribbean, Europe, and Asia & Oceania—were revealed.
By winning fast-track competitions including Top Model, Sports Challenge, Talent, Multimedia, Head-to-Head, and Beauty With a Purpose, a number of competitors had already advanced. Following in-person interviews, the judges chose the remaining semifinalists, and during the live finale, their identities were disclosed.
The competition was reduced from these 40 quarterfinalists to the Top 20, then to the Top 8, and finally to the four continental winners. These outstanding women earned their spot in the final round by representing the best in their respective regions.

The final four then faced the jury one last time, answering a thought-provoking question that tested their vision, eloquence, and values. Their responses played a key role in determining the ultimate winner.

The 1st runner-up was Ethiopia, Hasset Dereje, the 2nd runner-up was Poland, Maja Klajda, while the 3rd runner-up was Martinique, Aurélie Joachim.
In her heartfelt first speech as 72nd Miss World 2025, Opal Suchata, Thailand expressed her gratitude and vision for the year ahead:
