Miss World: 5 Queens Emerged As Winners Of The Head-to-Head Challenge

Out of the 112 challengers of the 71st edition of the Miss World, five of the Queens have been named as the winners of one of the intellect segments in the event.

The Head-to-Head Challenge which is beyond beauty had Lebanon, England, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Botswana win the battle with incredible presentations.

In the riveting showcase of intellect, compassion, and purpose, every one of the 112 hopefuls of the challenge energetically spoke about one of 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals in the head-to-head contest at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

Of these, 25 exceptional young women were shortlisted for the finale of the round. Following the thought-provoking presentations, the participants from Lebanon, Yasmina Zaytoun, England, Jessica Ashley, Nigeria, Ada Eme, Zimbabwe, Nokutenda Shekinah Marumbwa, and Botswana, Lesego Chombo, emerged as the winners based on their scores, reflecting the depth of talent and commitment among the participants.

This segment, a crucial component of the competition, highlights the diversity of global concerns and underscores Miss World´s commitment to fostering beauty with purpose.

Each contestant was given a platform to articulate their projects, ranging from environmental conservation to healthcare initiatives, social justice endeavors to educational reforms. Their impassioned speeches captivated judges, shedding light on the transformative power of beauty when coupled with a resolute commitment to social change.

Themed around “Beauty with Purpose”, Miss World exemplifies the fusion of glamour and meaningful impact. The 71st Miss World´s spectacular finale is scheduled for March 9th at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, and the event will be streamed by Sony Liv and telecast worldwide. The grand finale will feature stellar performances by acclaimed celebrities.
