Jennifer Lopez was honored with the Generation Award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards 2022 ceremony, which occurred on June 5, 2022 in California.
JLo looked bewitching at the ceremony, as she walked the red carpet, wearing a beautiful black outfit. During her speech in the wake of being honored with the Generation Award, Lopez was very close to home as she said thanks to her life partner Ben Affleck.
JLo and Ben Affleck were engaged earlier this year with such a lot of buzz around it. Since their commitment, the couple haven’t shown up yet in the public eye. And so, this was a unique occasion to do as such.

Whilst on the red carpet, Lopez gave out a warm whoop to Affleck and her family in her honors speech. In the wake of accepting the Generation Award, she said,
“Ben and everybody at home, hi! Wait for me to have dinner, I’ll be home by 7!”
She further added:
“I want to thank the people who gave me joy, and the ones who broke my heart,” she said. “The ones who were true and the ones who lied to me. I want to thank true love and I want to thank the way that I lied to myself because that’s how I knew I had to grow. I want to thank disappointment and failure for teaching me to be strong”, via E!
Interestingly, Jennifer Lopez also spoke about a great deal of things including how Ben Affleck proposed to her and that it really shocked her on a calm Saturday, when they were having a nice time at home.
