The Federal Government and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reached an agreement that lifts the travel restrictions on Nigerians immediately.
On Monday, July 15, after President Bola Tinubu presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, disclosed this to State House correspondents.

The Minister stated that holders of Nigerian passports can now travel to the UAE immediately.
“Today an agreement has been reached with the UAE effective from today July 15, Nigerian passport holders intending to travel to UAE can do so” he stated.
