Actress Halle Berry has disclosed that her children would not receive any preferential treatment from her if they decided to pursue careers in show business.

According to Halle Berry, who has always stressed independence, the same values are instilled in her children. The winner of the Academy Award has discussed the possibility of her children working in the entertainment industry in the future.

Berry is the mother of Nahla, a 16-year-old boy, and Maceo, a 10-year-old boy, from her previous marriage to Olivier Martinez. And according to her, if they want to enter the entertainment industry, they will have to figure out how to get there on their own.

She made it abundantly clear in a recent interview that, even if her children decide to follow in her footsteps, they would not receive any special treatment or easy access.

She claims that her children should follow in her footsteps because she built her business from the ground up without any assistance from others.

Berry elaborated on her position, stating that she had never been the victim of Hollywood nepotism or received outside assistance.

“I had no nepotism. Nobody helped me. I had to learn from the ground up,” Berry said. She went on to say that if her children were going to do the same thing, she would expect them to “do it the way I did it.”

In order to succeed on their own, the actress emphasized that they needed to pay their dues and master their craft. She stated, “That way, it’s always yours and nobody can take it away from you.”
