Okyehene Is Optimistic There Wouldn’t Be Any War After The Big Elections

According to Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin, there will never be a war in Ghana after the upcoming elections.

Contrary to other opinions that there will be chaos following the elections in December, the King stated that Ghana will emerge stronger.

He stated that this year’s elections will not be an exception because the nation has gone through elections since 1992 and has always won.

At a durbar that was held in his honor to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his ascension to the Ofori Panin stool as its occupant at Asiakwa in the Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region, Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin spoke.

Dasebre Dr. Twum Ampofo, the Nifahene of the Akyem Abuakwas traditional area, was in charge of the colorful durbar. Numerous people, including dignitaries holding positions in the government, attended the ceremony.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin also spoke about voting rights:

“You rejoice when after casting your votes your party is victorious but if your party does not win that is not the end of the world for you.”he said.

Because Ghanaians are naturally peace-loving, he reiterated that there will not be a war following the elections.

He praised President Akufo Addo and urged the youth to take advantage of his plan to educate every Ghanaian child.

Additionally, he made use of the occasion to demand that the government implement development projects in Asiakwa and its surroundings.

On th other hand, Osagyefo was also praised by the Nifahene of Akyem Abuakwa and Asiakwahene Dasebre Dr. Twum Ampofo for his plan to develop Akyem Abuakwa.

Since becoming Asiakwahene a year ago, he stated that he had appointed more subchiefs in Asiakwa and urged his people to cooperate more.

This is the third durbar that has been held to celebrate Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin’s 25th birthday, following the Adonteng division at Kukurantumi and the Benkum division at Begoro.
