Nearly 17,000 Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their teams began receiving their special Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition phones at the Olympic rendezvous at the Samsung showcase in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Village.
This limited-edition phone is a one-of-a-kind model of the brand-new Galaxy Z Flip6, which was recently unveiled on July 10 at Galaxy Unpacked.
Samsung had to collaborate more closely than ever with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to coordinate a special and more secure transportation program in order to guarantee timely delivery to all Paris 2024 athletes before the official market launch.
The bespoke smartphone is the first Olympic Edition to feature Galaxy AI and was made to enhance the athletes’ Games experience.
It comes pre-loaded with a comprehensive set of exclusive services and useful apps. These include an eSIM with 100GB of 5G data, a card that grants unlimited free access to public transportation, and a number of official Olympic apps that are meant to assist the athletes in experiencing new things and meeting new people while they are in Paris.
