Renowned Ghanaian theologian and International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) founder Pastor Mensa Otabil has repeatedly underlined that Christians can uphold their moral principles and have a constructive impact on society even in the entertainment sector.
Pastor Otabil emphasizes in one of his sermons the significance of Christians being “light bearers in a dark world,” urging followers of Christ to lead blameless lives in the face of adversity.
He made comparisons to biblical characters who maintained their faith in the face of hardship, such as Noah, Abraham, and Moses. Otabil says that Christians are called to shine as lights in the world, standing fast to the word of life and impacting their surrounds positively .
Furthermore, Pastor Otabil highlights the principle of Christian stewardship, which entails handling God’s gifts and resources appropriately. He teaches that for the glory of God, Christians should make the most of their talents and opportunity to produce the fruits of righteousness, influencing a variety of industries, including entertainment.
What Is The Main Purpose Of Humans On Earth?
