In the midst of Ghana’s political season, host Paul Adom-Otchere had to drag through the mud ace broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) on his show.
This comes after KKD reprimanded the Finance Minister’s commitment to irreconcilable circumstance.
Mr. Kyei Darkwa on GTV’s morning ‘Breakfast’ show had gotten down on Ken Ofori-Atta for being narrow minded, voracious, treacherous and a criminal among other depictions, for choosing his own organization, DataBank as a financial advisor to the government of the day where it enjoys 9.6% of all securities the NPP government has raised on the capital market.
The ace broadcaster revealed on the show that, being a recipient of the loans the government takes whilst same entity is the one that advises for the loans to be taken is the reason Ghana’s debt stock has intensely gone up under the Akufo-Addo government.
Adom-Otchere, a fervent supporter of the NPP government in all matters, particularly since his appointment as a board member of the Ghana Airports Company, stated that Mr. Ofori-Atta has not engaged in any conflict of interest in response to this assertion made by KKD on his show “Good Evening Ghana.”

He claims that Databank has been carrying out such duties since the Mahama administration, which is why he cannot be blamed for a conflict of interest.
However, when KKD made an appearance on Onua TV’s Morning Show on Monday, he stated that he had forgiven Paul Adom-Otchere because he was his younger brother.
Nonetheless, he gave him an advise:
“When a prominent person enters a house, because of how he is dressed, the dog barks at him. After the dog has been tamed and the guest is ushered in, it gets caged back to its abode.
“If you’re a child, don’t allow yourself to be used to insult the elderly”, adding in his subsequent contributions and in an address to those battling him for credit on the DataBank rants that, “any fool can speak truth to the poor and needy but only the wise can speak truth to power,” he advised.
Adom-Otchere is a staunch defender of the ruling NPP, while KKD has been a steadfast supporter of the opposition NDC.
