Perpetual Didier, now known as AYA, was as usual phenomenal on her latest song, “Edenkema,” which highlighted a little bit of an Amapiano sound.

“Edenkema,” which means “Odomankoma” in Twi and All-Powerful Lord in English, is not only a gospel song that praises the God but also a tune for dancing.

Aya’s new song which is produced by DaveJoy Productions is doing well, especially considering her vocals, arrangement, instrumental, and the song’s dancy connection.

Aya has had numerous hit songs to her credit over the years which includes: ‘Endane Ogya, Nyame Wo Ye, Evidence of Grace, I Get Money’, among others.

However, “Edenkema” stands out among all these songs. Aya, better known as the Gospel Striker, said in an interview that she decided to break the trend because of where she comes from.

The link between “Edenkema” to the gospel singer’s hometown of Nzema in the Western region of Ghana vies to express gratitude to God for everything He has done by lifting His Name.

Aya, one of Ghana’s most well-known gospel singers, has worked with a number of the country’s best singers, including Obaapa Christy. When the inspirational and Afro-soul singer is given the chance to perform, she does so without leaving any “stains on stage.”

The persevering Aya believes that, better performance means getting more work done in less time or using fewer resources. As a result, she believes her service to the Lord is a significant call, and so keeps churning out resonating songs as a minister of God.
