This Is What Transpired At The 2020 RTP Awards (Photos)

The tenth edition of The Radio and Television Personality (RTP) fell off at the Kempinski Hotel on Saturday 7th November, 20202 in Accra-Ghana.

The award function, which is the biggest, most renowned and exceptionally publicized event in Ghana, is coordinated to honour excellence in the media industry.

With Elvis Crystal of Asaase Radio and Roselyn Feli of TV Africa hosting the show, you shouldn’t expect nothing under a great emceeing.

They made the show luring with their dances and clairvoyant style of presentation. The award ceremony had numerous broadcasters being regarded for their performance in the year under review.

Several media characters were awarded for their real performance during the 2019 and 2020 separately.

Stacey Amoateng, the General Manager of Angel Broadcasting Network (Angel TV and FM), received the highest honor for the evening – RTP Personality of the Year 2020. She additionally won the TV Development Show Host of the Year.

Peace FM’s Kwame Sefa Kayi and EIB Network (Starr FM, GHOne TV, among others) CEO Bola Ray both shared the honor of being named the RTP Personalities of the Decade (2010-2020).

Other eminent winners included Nana Ama McBrown who won two awards, TV Entertainment Show Host of the Year and TV Presenter of the Year.

Despite Media Managing Director, Fadda Dickson was also honored as a hero with his outfit (Despite Media) being the biggest winner on the night with an aggregate of 15 awards.

Other institutions who were winners on the night included ABN, EIB, and Media General (TV3).

In the middle of show, Praye, Mr Drew, Krymi, Ex-Doe, Kidi, Selina Boateng among others delightfully performed great tunes to engage the audience.
