The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has at the invitation of the President of the Republic of France, H. E. Emmanuel Macron, and the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt. Hon. Chris Hipkins, left Ghana to participate in the 5th Christchurch Call Leaders’ Summit scheduled to be held on Friday, 10th November, 2023 in Paris, France.
President Akufo-Addo, whilst in France, will also, at the invitation of the President of the Paris Peace Forum, Mr. Angel Gurria, participate in the Sixth Edition of the Paris Peace Forum scheduled to be held from 10th to 11th November, 2023.

President Akufo-Addo will return to Ghana on Sunday, 12th November, 2023, and in his absence, the Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, shall, in accordance with Article 60(8) of the constitution, act in his absence.
