In an effort to honor Ghanaian ingenuity and culture, President John Dramani Mahama recently inaugurated the #BlackStarExperience.
During his address at the event, President Mahama declared at the launch that he would eventually take part in Rhythms On Da Runway.
Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), the founder of the yearly fashion and music festival Rhythms On Da Runway, is directly linked to this effort.
Events that support Ghanaian heritage and diaspora participation will be closely aligned with the #BlackStarExperience.
The well-known Ghanaian fashion designer and broadcaster KOD has played a key role in planning Rhythms On Da Runway, an event that combines music and fashion.
His appointment by President Mahama as the Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs in February 2025 further cemented their joint endeavors to advance Ghanaian culture.
President Mahama might be involved in the RODR in some way because of his active participation in cultural projects like the #BlackStarExperience.
It will project the event and draw more tourists to Ghana each year if President Mahama follows through on his pledge to join the walkway on Rhythms On Da Runway one day.
