President John Dramani Mahama has promised to carry out and finish the healthcare initiatives that President Nana Akufo-Addo started.
The President has stated that he will give top priority to finishing all unfinished healthcare facilities in the country.
According to him, his administration will see to it that all projects started during the previous administration are completed.
The President’s pledge demonstrates his dedication to and emphasis on providing high-quality healthcare.
In his promises prior to the general elections in 2024, Mr. Mahama made it clear that, should he be elected, he will carry out all of the country’s abandoned projects.
“We shall continue abandoned health projects and operationalize them as key steps toward expanding healthcare access nationwide,” Mr. Mahama said on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Winneba.
“We will prioritize investment in infrastructure and human resources to ensure accessible, quality medical care.”
Following his predecessor, former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who urged him to finish the Agenda 111 projects in his final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on January 3, President Mahama made the pledge.
In order to improve access to high-quality healthcare nationwide, Mahama underlined the significance of building on the advancements made by the current administration in developing healthcare infrastructure and making sure that all outstanding projects are finished. His dedication demonstrates a focus on maintaining important national healthcare initiatives.
