Prof. Kwesi Aning– the Director, of the Faculty of Academic Affairs & Research, at Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, Ghana and a Clinical Professor has stated that, John Mahama, the incoming president of Ghana, should not allow the “so called” men of God to influence him to neglect his duty to the Ghanaian people.

On Sunday, December 8, Prof. Aning stated on GHOne TV that Mahama won the elections through hard work rather than any kind of prophecy.

He stated:

Mahama himself is aware that he won the elections by working hard. Thus, he ought to concentrate and work”.

Based on the many predictions made by some prophets before the elections, he offered President John Mahama this advice.

Following Prophet Owusu Bempah’s statement in his Sunday church sermon on Sunday, December 8, that he only makes prophecies when God reveals them to him, Prof. Aning said, “God speaks in one voice”.

When Owusu Bempah’s prediction that John Mahama would win this year’s elections came true, he claimed the glory.

Prof. Aning also suggested that President John Mahama fire any of his security guards who go to see some of these pastors because for waist protection gears or products to keep the president protected.

Numerous pastors and prophets made prophesies before the elections, with some supporting the NDC and others the NPP.

“All of these pastors are a disgrace to God”, according to Prof. Aning.
