Rapper Declyn Lauper Arrested. This Is Why

Singer-songwriter Cyndi Lauper’s son, Declyn ‘Dex’ Lauper got caught in possession of a gun and drugs in the midst of the shooting in Harlem on Wednesday February 7. He was Lauper was arrested near the shooting site.

The NYPD authorities got Lauper close to the site building on Wednesday night, almost 15 minutes after the firing. The authorities, nonetheless, didn’t specify the substance that was recovered from the rapper.

The rapper has been in trouble with the law before. Lauper was arrested in 2022 for driving a stolen Mercedes car. He was placed on probation after the court ordered him to perform five days of community service. The singer didn’t face prison time in those days.
