In August 2022, when the Academy of The Humor Awards (THA) 2022 were announced, comedienne Real Warri had no idea that she would be a winner.

Comedian Real Warri Pikin won the awards for “Most Creative Comedy Show” and “Stand Up Comedian Of The Year 2022” at the second ceremony.

Warri received three nominations, and after winning two of them, she was awarded a plot of Land in recognition of her achievements in the comedy industry.

The awards “The Dream the Glory” are held annually to recognize comedians and comic acts from across the continent.

In 2021, the Academy held its first event, titled “The Revolution,” at which a number of comedians received awards for their exceptional works.

The second edition of the Humour Awards recently came up and had several top comedians attend. The Humour Awards is the first comedy award ceremony in the entertainment industry to honor comedians for their skills and originality.

On her Instagram page, Real Warri shared her accomplishment:

“This award is Dedicated to all the women in the stand up comedy industry. This goes to show that with hardwork and determination we’re unstoppable and a force to be reckoned with”.
