Nigerian comedian Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha, famously referred to in showbiz as- – Real Warri Pikin is set to bring her leader comedy show to Ghana, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra on the 16th of October, 2022.
The event – “Real Warri Pikin Unfiltered” is the brainchild of RWP Entertainment and One Percent International, and is being held in partnership with Ghana’s popular media outfit 3Media Networks.
This is the 6th edition of the comedy show, and will unfurl as an interesting mix of satire and music, among other entertainment forms.
Organizers say patrons who will come in their numbers to the show, can anticipate an extraordinary pressed night, with a supporting cast of Ghanaian and Nigerian comedians including OB Amponsah, DKB, Pararan, Young Chief, Mavi, Onomski, Comedian Waris, Zigabella, Royal and Small Pitah.
Music performers billed for the big show are Camidoh, Gyakie, Harry Song, Victor AD and Erigga.
According to Real Warri Pikin (the African Queen of Comedy), she is hopeful this edition to be held in Ghana, will be better over all past editions.
“You shall never have a better yesterday. Ghana has to be better!.
“If you have a product that sells itself as well, it makes life easier for you,” One Percent International CEO Stephanie Nnadi added. “It’s not a market that you have to kill yourself to sell. Real Warri Pikin sells herself because she’s a great talent.”, she said.
Then again, 3Media Networks also consider the partnership to be an extraordinary chance to initiate the comedy part of event production.
“Real Warri Pikin Unfiltered” is supported by Air Peace, Momo, Payporte, Vaettel, No Hindrance Restaurant, Midcrest Ltd, Italian Boy Pub, Odogwu Bitters, Bankies Unicorn Ltd, Jenny’s Glow and Mapia Tea.
