When his uncle, the lesser sibling of his father died through COVID-19, he was very broken down. Accordingly, fanatics of Reggae Legend Gramps Morgan least expected he would release a new one soon.
Particularly, when he his uncle was so dear to him. Obviously, the late J. Morgan was persuasive in Gramps Morgan’s music career, thus he got very emotionally hurt.
Besides the ‘pain’, Gramps has on Friday 18th September, 2020 released another beautiful one called ‘Runaway Bay‘. The excessively talented Reggae vocalist who is a member from the well known band MORGAN HERITAGE which incorporates Peter “Peetah” Morgan, Una Morgan, Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan and Memmalatel “Mr. Magic” Morgan, plays the console in the band and is also a vocalist alongside Peter Morgan, the main vocalist of the group.
For more than twenty years, they have had various fruitful reggae albums. Until this point, the band has delivered 12 albums, including 2016 Grammy Award Winning Best Reggae Album Strictly Roots.
Also, Morgan Heritage got 2 Grammy nominations for their collection ‘Avrakedabra’ released in 2017 and include on Shaggy and Sting’s collection named ’44/876′.
The 44 year old vocalist, instrumentalist, producer, record executive, and entrepreneur is out with another wonderful tune ‘Runaway Bay’.
The tune, which as usual accompanies extraordinary instrumentations and verses says a lot to all fans, as it is profound and a passionate one.
