
The Nigerian musician and rapper Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, has been named the 2022 artiste with the most viewed music video on YouTube.
The 22-year-old singer won the competition by defeating Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, and other senior competitors.
A list compiled by renowned digital ecosystem firm Dataleum and data intelligence and released on December 30th revealed that, Rema’s hit music video for “Calm Down” received 313 million views, while the remix featuring Selena Gomez received 204 million views.

Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” which received over 144 million views, and Kizz Daniel’s “Buga,” which received 110 million views, were closely followed.
One of the biggest songs of 2022 is Rema’s remix of Selena Gomez’s “Calm Down,” which has more than 300 million views on YouTube in just 10 months.
