Back in June 1988, the film ‘Coming 2 america’ was ostensibly the renowned film that everybody ached for to watch. The film which featured actors like Eddie Murphy himself, had huge loads of people enjoying the film at the time.

It’s 32 years as of now, and the legendary Eddie Murphy is just about releasing another rendition of the film that took the world by storm years ago.

Coming 2 America is a forthcoming American comedy movie which is directed by Craig Brewer, and a screenplay by David Sheffield, Barry W. Blaustein and Kenya Barris. The film has an intriguing story created by Eddie Murphy and is the second portion in the Coming to America film series.

The film fills in as a spin-off of the first film. Film stars like Murphy himself, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos, Tracy Morgan, Wesley Snipes and James Earl Jones will all be included in the expectant film.

The film which was initially to be dramatically released by Paramount Pictures, had the film’s dissemination rights sold to Amazon Studios because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Coming 2 American will however be released digitally on Prime Video on December 18, 2020.

The film will have Eddie Murphy playing as Prince Akeem Joffer: the ruler of Zamunda. He will also play as Randy Watson, a soul vocalist with the anecdotal band Sexual Chocolate.

Arsenio Hall as Semmi: Akeem’s closest companion and assistant, Jermaine Fowler as Lavelle: Akeem’s child, KiKi Layne as Meeka Joffer: Akeem’s first daughter, Leslie Jones as Lavelle’s mom, Shari Headley as Lisa McDowell: Akeem’s better half whom he began to look all starry eyed at during his first excursion to America, John Amos as Cleo McDowell: Akeem’s boss and father-in-law and Lisa’s dad, Tracy Morgan as Reem: Lavelle’s uncle, Wesley Snipes as General Izzi: Imani’s more older brother, James Earl Jones as King Jaffe Joffer: Akeem’s sick dad and the King of Zamunda, Louie Anderson as Maurice: a mid-level representative at McDowell’s café, Vanessa Bell Calloway as Imani Izzi: General Izzi’s younger sister, and Rick Ross as Himself.
