It’s 32 years as of now, and the legendary Eddie Murphy is just about releasing another rendition of the film that took the world by storm years ago.
Coming 2 America is a forthcoming American comedy movie which is directed by Craig Brewer, and a screenplay by David Sheffield, Barry W. Blaustein and Kenya Barris. The film has an intriguing story created by Eddie Murphy and is the second portion in the Coming to America film series.
The film fills in as a spin-off of the first film. Film stars like Murphy himself, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos, Tracy Morgan, Wesley Snipes and James Earl Jones will all be included in the expectant film.
The film which was initially to be dramatically released by Paramount Pictures, had the film’s dissemination rights sold to Amazon Studios because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Coming 2 American will however be released digitally on Prime Video on December 18, 2020.
The film will have Eddie Murphy playing as Prince Akeem Joffer: the ruler of Zamunda. He will also play as Randy Watson, a soul vocalist with the anecdotal band Sexual Chocolate.
