
Richarlison was the man of the game in Brazil’s opening match of the 2022 World Cup against Serbia at Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar. He Scored a sensational World Cup Goal on Scissor Kick during the match.
The Brazilian striker netted a gorgeous goal on a beautiful scissor kick, helping Brazil defeat Serbia, 2-0. In the 73rd minute, Richarlison received the ball in the penalty area with his back to the goal.
And in one moment, Richarlison flicked the ball into the air on his first touch and whipped his body around to perform a deft scissor kick. His shot sailed over Serbian defender Miloš Veljković and went past goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic.
The goal sparked much conversation on social media, and is an early contender for goal of the tournament. Previously, the Tottenham Hotspur forward broke a 0-0 deadlock in the 62nd minute, scoring the first goal of the match on a rebound. It was Richarlison’s World Cup debut.
