Singer Rihanna of ‘Fenty’ is officially a billionaire, as per Forbes.
The business magazine, which tracks and publishes data on the world’s most affluent people, on Wednesday August 4, announced that the 33-year-old pop whiz’s estimated net worth to be $1.7 billion, making her the most well off female artist and the second-most richest woman in entertainment behind Oprah Winfrey.
Rihanna has since 2016, not released any album – focusing more on her side business (Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and her Savage x Fenty underwear line). Her last released album was “Anti“, which went through 63 weeks on the Billboard chart.
Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty is doing well overall, and has been assessed by Forbes to be worth $2.8 billion.
In 2018, the cosmetics brand, which is sold at Sephora stores, was making more than $550 million in yearly incomes, acquiring more than Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty, Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Jessica Alba’s Honest Company.
One of the keys to Rihanna’s prosperity has been promoting products to women, all things considered, sizes and skin conceals.
As one of the first brands that came out, it has substantiated itself very well. A ton of women felt there were no lines out there that obliged their skin tone. They had challenges.
Forbes revealed that Rihanna also owns 30% of Savage x Fenty, which brought $115 million up in February in the wake of getting a $1 billion valuation. LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault and rapper Jay Z are likewise guideline financial backers in the underwear brand.
