
Rolls-Royce has announced the appointment of Kimberly C. Hicks as General Counsel for Defence and Rolls-Royce North America (RRNA).
Kim will be a key member of the Defence and General Counsel Leadership teams and will be based in Washington, D.C.
Kim will lead the global Defence General Counsel team and oversee other General Counsel team members located in the United States.
She will also join the Rolls-Royce North America Board which is responsible for oversight of the organization’s Special Security Agreement with the U.S. Department of Defence.
Kim joined Rolls-Royce in 2022 and has been serving as interim General Counsel for Defence and RRNA since January 2024.
Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Kim led the litigation and investigations team at Accenture Federal Services and served as legal counsel at Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Headquarters and Space Sector.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a juris doctorate degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

North America is the single biggest market for Rolls-Royce and assumes a huge role in the organization’s Civil, Defence and Power Systems businesses.

Many of the company’s defence aerospace products are designed, engineered, manufactured and assembled in Indianapolis, Indiana – our largest facility in the region.
Other major defence manufacturing sites in the region include naval facilities in Walpole, Massachusetts; Pascagoula, Mississippi; and, Peterborough, Ontario.
Rolls-Royce employs nearly 6,000 people across North America with significant operations in 27 states and six Canadian provinces. In 2023, Rolls-Royce generated $6.47 billion of revenue in North America.
