Samini Assumes A ‘Crucial Role’ In A New Film ‘The Storm’

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall recording artist Emmanuel Andrews Samini lovingly referred to in the showbiz circles as Samini has wandered into one more role in a new film ‘The Sorm‘.

The film, which is directed by Ben Owusu will debut at the Silverbird Cinemas on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Kumasi.

In the movie, Samini, who played Ali Zafara, plays the head of the Southern Crime underworld. He comes across as tough, cold, and highly regarded.

Ama K. Abebrese, Adjetey Anang, Fiifi Coleman, Samini, Salma Mumin, Edward Agyekum Kuffuor, and Luckie Lawson are just a few of the outstanding actors in “The Storm.”

The movies is about crooks, murder, arrests, corruption, and a battle for equity.

Adjetey Anang and Ama K. Abebrese, Detective Danso and Detective Lynn, are the two honest members of the law enforcement team.

Milly (Luckie Lawson) played an important social advocate for the protection of children from crime and the fight against injustice.

This is not the first time that Samini has been cast in a movie. He has previously appeared in other Ghanaian beautiful productions.
