Negotiations to terminate Sebastian Haller’s loan to CD Leganés are reportedly in progress.

Borussia Dortmund might be able to get some extra attacking support in this way.

The Spanish sports daily “Marca” reports that Sebastian Haller, the BVB striker, is returning to Westphalia early after a dismal first half of his loan at CD Leganés.

In the past two months, Haller has only made two appearances for the recently promoted La Liga team. In September and October 2024, he made seven of his nine appearances under Borja Jimenez.

In 525 minutes of play, the Ivorian international has not recorded a goal or an assist.

Haller’s estimated market value has been steadily declining. When Haller joined the Schwarzgelben in the summer of 2022, he was valued at €35 million; today, he is thought to be worth €3 million.

He lost an estimated €4.5 million in value while working overseas in the most recent decline.
