After seven days of showcasing her artistic abilities through exquisite paintings, Sharon Dede Padi Padiki has completed her Guinness World Record attempt.
She has successfully broken the record for the longest painting marathon attempt of the GWR.
Dede Padiki started her work of art project on March 15 and completed it on March 22, 2024, to break the record for the longest Paint-a-thon painting long distance race.
The Ghanaian painter is now hopeful she will be granted with the certificate, taking a look at the energy invested in the attempt.

Padiki began on strong note, and broke the record on Tuesday for the longest artwork long distance race, outperforming the past record-holder, Nigerian Chancellor Ahaghotu, who also finished the painting marathon in Atlanta, Georgia, USA for 100 hours from October 26th to October 30th, 2023.
In her endeavor to break the Paint-a-thon longest work of art marathon, she sold Ghana to the world through culture after reliable support from the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and her partners, sponsors and the media.
Sharon Padiki will now present her works to the Guinness World Record for an underwriting, with expectations of accepting her certificate for the longest painting marathon.
