As per singer cum actress Adomaa, she was in an abusive relationship at a point in her life.
The singer shared this emotional snapshot of her life while talking about confidence and her Christian background on the “If More Let’s Divide” podcast hosted by Mutombo Da Poet and Frederick Eliz.
Adomaa revealed that, although she grew up in a home with a Pastor father, there were times where she questioned her faith.
Having been raised in a “church household,” the singer-turned-actress stated that she began to inquire about her faith because it had become more of a routine.

Adomaa, on the other hand, shared that she experienced a series of events that prompted her to regain her faith in God.
She stated, recalling a few of those experiences:
“There was a lot going on. I was battling depression, I was in an abusive relationship at a point.”
The award-winning singer came to the conclusion that all of the traumatic events nearly caused her suicide. However, she quickly regained her faith when she experienced God in that moment.
