Many people were carried away with Efya’s performance at the maiden version of the Stars Of The Future Talent Show organized by Charter House in 2008. Her stage tricks, demeanor combined with a too wonderful vocals was what grabbed the eye of the audience.

The voice of Efya is such incredible that, you generally would love to hear her out again and again. Real name Jane Fara Fauzzier Afia Boafowaa Yahaya can be put in one box with the likes of Beyonce, Rihana, Alicia Keys and other fine performers the world has seen – due to her very vocal capacities. Evidently, Efya is one of the few Ghanaian artists who has been underrated for a really long time.

As per music producers in Ghana and beyond, Efya happens to be the best female vocalist Ghana has produced. The 33 year old artist, lyricist and entertainer has been in the music business for several years. She won the Best Female Vocal Performance Class at the Ghana Music Awards in four progressions, starting in 2011.

After two years, her performance at the 2013 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards was one which was portrayed as the best by the judges and the crowd. Efya has from that point forward, performed at numerous events including Banking Awards and other corporate shows.

The Neo soul afro-soul pop jazz vocalist has featured a ton of music stars both in Ghana, Africa and with other European countries.

Efya, after some time in the music business, joined up with her Talent show partner, Irene Logan. Awards And Nominations

In 2016 – At the Nigerian Entertainment Awards, Efya was the Winner for (African Female Artist of the Year (as a Non Nigerian).

She was also a nominee for the Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television & Arts as the (Best International Female International Act).

At the Glitz Style Awards 2016, Efya was adjudged the Winner as the Most Stylish Music Artiste Of The Year.

African Muzik Magazine Awards 2016 – She was the Winner as the Best Female West Africa.

In 2014, African Muzik Magazine Awards – She was also Nominated for the (Best Female West Africa.

That same year (2014), Efya was adjudged the winner at the City People Entertainment Awards as Female Musician of the Year.

World Music Awards 2014 – Nominated (World’s Best Female Artist).

Efya has incredible Albums including Janesis, T.I.N.T., Urban Heartbeat, Vol.71, Washed White EP and some more. Aside from the collections, she has released singles that got the individuals to chime in, and these incorporate “Gingam Too Much” ,”Until the Dawn”, “Your Body” and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Efya is a product of National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and graduated with a degree in theater and also music from the University of Ghana.
