70 year-old Legendary artist Phil Collins can not play the drums he used to because of medical problems. The performer has of late been on promotional reunion tour with his Genesis band. He announced his current health issue when he recently visited BBC.

Hereafter, Phil Collins’ son Nic Collins will now take over as the drummer in his nonappearance. As indicated by Phil Collins, he can scarcely hold a stick with this hand.

So there are some physical things that disrupt the general flow. It’s baffling yet as indicated by Phil Collins, he’d love to play up there with his son but as at now, that is impossible. Instead, he will now only sing with the band.

Meanwhile, Phil Collins isn’t sure as to whether he’ll tour any more due to the Covid pandemic as well as his health issues. Collins had a series of fractures over the years and in 2015 underwent back surgery which left him with nerve damage. In 2017 he fell, which resulted in him using a cane to assist with walking.
