
Snoop Dogg, the rapper and entrepreneur, is once again expanding his business empire. The celebrated rapper is currently getting into a line of premium coffee products with beans obtained locally from Indonesia.
Snoop has partnered with Indonesian coffee business visionary Michael Riady to launch INDOxyz: ” a premium lifestyle coffee brand that was designed with the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in mind.
In the statement, Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus, said,
“My relationship with coffee goes way back,” Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus. The many long nights in the studio making hit after hit, coffee provided the fuel which kept us going. Today marks the launch of a new company I created along with my partner Michael, who introduced me to the best tasting Indonesian coffee. All it took was one sip and Snoop was hooked.”
Snoop Dogg added:
“Indo is going to change the industry, I can promise you that,” referring to his coffee brand, which is also a common abbreviation for Indonesia. The country is a top global producer of coffee”.
During the Dutch colonial era, coffee cultivation began toward the end of the 16th century. Indonesia produces both Arabica and Robusta beans, as well as Kopi Luwak, or civet coffee, a brew made of coffee berries from civet cats that have been partially digested.

Snoop’s Coffee beans will come from Gayo, a region in Aceh on the Sumatran island. The beautiful mountain basin that surrounds Lake Tawar and the town of Takengon is where the Gayo region grows high-quality Arabica.
Snoop Dogg has consistently expanded his business empire in addition to releasing more than a dozen studio albums and receiving multiple Grammy nominations as a rapper. The rapper has launched Snoop Loopz, a gluten-free cereal, and pet accessories.
He started his own wine label in 2020. He has his own line of cannabis products and is a vocal advocate for the drug.
