Black Sherif, a Ghanaian multi-genre artist, has been nominated in five categories for the Soundcity MVP Awards, which will be held on February 11, 2023, in Lagos, Nigeria. His music career achievements continue to soar.
The Soundcity Music Video Awards have been honoring outstanding African talent for the past seven years. The hitmaker has been nominated for the Listeners’ Choice, Viewers’ Choice, Best Hip Hop, Best New Artiste, and Best Collaboration Awards, respectively, this year.
Rema and Asake from Nigeria each received seven nominations, with Burnaboy receiving the most with eight.
Costa Titch, Kidi, and Ayra Starr each received four nominations, and Omah Lay and Camidoh each received five.
In 15 different music categories, the SoundCity MVP Awards honor outstanding achievements of African musicians, including Best Male MVP, Best Female MVP, and African Artiste of the Year. The event is scheduled for February 11 at the Lagos Eko Convention Centre.
