Following the recent horrifying attack on a dance class themed after Taylor Swift, the singer released a brief statement on her Instagram Story.
After three children were stabbed to death on July 29 in Southport, England, Taylor Swift said she was very shocked. On Tuesday, July 30, the 34-year-old pop star posted a statement to her Instagram Story. She said that she was heartbroken for the families of those who were stabbed and killed.

“The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously, and I’m just completely in shock… The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and first responders. These were just little kids at a dance class. I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families,” she said.
On Monday afternoon, when the incident took place, police responded to calls at a dance school in Southport. For children between the ages of 6 and 11, the school was hosting a “Taylor Swift Yoga and Dance Workshop.” Nine other girls were injured, two of whom were aged 6 and 7.
