It’s fascinating and simultaneously invigorating to realize that two top artists, Jill Scott and Erykah Badu has broken Teddy Riley and Babyface’s past record during their profoundly anticipated Instagram Live battle.
Swizz Beatz and Timbaland as of late, observed Black music and from no where, Erykah Badu and Jill Sott took to Instagram to join the good times. Their music matchup denoted the first run through female artists took part in a fight this way, and it was the moment that many were anticipating.
During that time, more than 700,000 viewers tuned into Erykah and Jill’s livestream, breaking Teddy Riley and Babyface’s record of 500,000 viewers.
Through the span of three hours, the two celebrated and award winning artists alternated playing a determination of their hits and melodies they’ve composed for other people.
During the Instagram battle, Erykah and Jill communicated their common adoration for one another’s creativity and enjoyed each others creativity. The night was also set apart by the presence of the former US First Lady Michelle Obama, who was seen in the comments section.
