The 10 Happiest Countries In The World 2025

According to the 2025 World Happiness Report, Taiwan is the happiest country in Asia.

It moved up from 31st place last year to 27th place out of 147 locations worldwide that were ranked this year, overtaking Singapore as the top spot. Beijing views the democratically self-governing island of Taiwan as a part of its territory.

The Nordic nations are once again at the top of the global happiness list this year, with Finland taking the top spot for the eighth consecutive year. Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and the Netherlands are next in line.

Some of the top authorities and researchers in the field of well-being science collaborated to create the World Happiness Report. Data from the Gallup World Poll, which averaged people’s self-reported life assessments across a three-year period from 2022 to 2024, is used to fuel the happiness ranking.

Additionally, experts examined data on six important factors: corruption, freedom, charity, healthy life expectancy, social assistance, and gross domestic output per capita.

According to the document, the six variables can offer a deeper understanding and help explain variations among countries, even if the happiness ranking is based on the respondents’ subjective assessments of their own quality of life.
