This year’s 1957 Buffet is an event that combines music and food to highlight and celebrate Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.
The annual event, which is put on by Griddle Kitchen, will take place on March 6, 2023, at Nungua Addogono, close to Spintex Ecobank. This event will help people connect with one another and learn about a variety of food cultures that are true to Ghanaian identity.
A variety of dishes from your favorite Ghanaian cuisine will be on display. The content for the 1957 buffet this year aims to continue celebrating food made in Ghana with a Ghanaian “Chop Bar” set up to feel, eat, and connect Ghanaians.
The objective is to promote indigenous Ghanaian dishes and sell Ghana to the diasporan community by sending the festival outside the country. This is the primary reason this is organized annually, as the 1957 Buffet strongly supports this vision.
