
It was profoundly expected, and it happened on Saturday 27th March, 2021 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The fourth Annual 3Music Awards ceremony got going with a ‘Drip’ Red Carpet hosted by three Ghanaian jokesters Lekzi Decomic, Akrobeto and O.B Amponsah. The clairvoyance between the three was perfectly done, as they flawlessly engaged the couple of guests who were available.
At the main awards corridor, was Jay Foley and Naa Ashokor who were the hosts of 3Music Awards 2021 (the virtual edition). Obviously, you can’t resent them for meeting up again to moderate the awards. They were simply exceptional.
The First Awards was presented by Edward Nana Poku a.k.a Da Hammer of the Last Two Fame and the others continued thereof.

Amidst the event, several performances came through with Diana Hamilton getting going with the first beautiful execution with ‘Wasem’, ‘Mmo Ne Yo’, and ‘Adom’ respectively.

Another gospel super-act Efe Grace additionally circled back to incredible tunes charging the conference room. Other incredible performances were also done by: Jah Lead, Kaphun, Larusso, Medikal, Joey B, Adina, Camidoh, Mr Drew, KiDi, Gyakie Yaw Tog, Kwaku Flick, Kofi Jamar and others.
In memory of the late Ghanaian entertainers which includes: Prophet Seth Frimpong Kofi B, Bernard Nyarko, Nana Tuffour, J.J Rawlings, DJ Adviser, and others, the Santrofi Music Band honored every one of them with passionate melodies that was astoundingly performed.
Then, Highlife Legend Nana Acheampong was also celebrated on the night with the man himself performing number of his tunes in front of the audience watching from home. And he did ‘Equity’ to three of his famous tunes with an unprecedented approach to them.
Also, Vanessa Gyan, daughter of Kiki Gyan, one of the members from the Legendary music band (Osibisa), paid tribute to the band, who were renowned all over the world during the 1950s. Osibisa was a unique men band that stood out as truly newsworthy at that time, until it was disbanded after the death of most of the members.

In memory of them at the 3Music Awards, Mr. Drew and KiDi with the band, paid tribute to Osibisa by performing the vast majority of their tunes, to honor them.
Osibisa was however regarded with the Music Legends Awards presented by Ghana’s Information minister, Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah. Accepting the honors, two living members from the Osibisa group, Sol Amarfio and Bessa Simons were glad for the acknowledgment.
The awards was a very successful one, with practically every last one of the relative multitude of plans for the 2021 awards coming out fruitful. Singer KiDi was crowned the Artist of The Year.
