The 22nd Edition Of The Ghana Music Awards Night: See What Happened

The 2021 Ghana Music Awards fell off on the 25th of June through to Saturday June 26, with all the Ghanaian stars present to observe the beauty of the event.

Regina Van Helvert and Elikem Kumodzi, who were Red Carpet hosts of the awards, welcomed all celebs onto the floor covering in stupendous style.

In the main auditorium, Joe Mettle and Diana Antwi Hamilton opened the night with a delightful collaboration on the famous “Adom” tune by Diana Hamilton.

It was a superb opening, as the selected tunes by the duo were sensational, pushing people to be on their feet.

Host of the 2021 VGMA Berla Mundi took over from Diana and Joe Mettle, as she perfectly introduced the show in an excellent outfit.

Giovanni Caleb and Sika Osei were additionally introduced as Commentator Lounge presenters who helped Berla Mundi in running the entire event.

The show was lit, as it was from the beginning, got warmed up with extraordinary performances, alongside the award presentations.

At the end of it all, Gospel Superstar Diana Antwi Hamilton Won the coveted award – Artist Of The Year.

Meanwhile, Efya and Mr Drew also captured everyone’s attention with their awesome and engaging stage show in the middle of the event.

Rapper Eno Barony, also mounted the stage with a one of a kind appearance in a snowish-like clothing alongside her young dancing ladies in all white clothing and uniform spectacles. Several other artists also performed.

Soon after Eno Barony, then came KiDi who shook the stage with some of his tunes, ‘moving’ the auditorium. Kwesi Arthur and Joe Boy additionally added their beautiful performance with a pleasant communitarian tune.

Just after receiving his award, Kuami Eugene returned in front of the audience to do what he love most- – by setting up a phenomenal execution with Keche. The night’s youngest artist, Yaw Tog bounced in front of the audience in his all-white coat and set up a fine performance too.

This Is For Castro ‘De Destroyer’:

Sarkodie, Kofi Kinaata and Kurl Songz paid a nice tribute to Castro, who was one of the famous Ghanaian acts before he disappeared.

Castro has been missing for precisely seven years now after he went to have some good times at the sea shore with friends. The singer has since not been seen up until this date. According to law, he will be announced dead before the end of June 2021.
