Abedi Pele revealed that his two sons Andre and Jordan Ayew are realizing his ambition of playing for the Black Stars as the 2022 FIFA World Cup is now taking place in Qatar, a dream he desired yet wasn’t fulfilled.
“A dream was to be at the @FIFAWorldCup but didn’t get the chance back then! Now m make my dream and Ghana gh as a nation come on. #BringBackTheLove #BlackStars. Alhamdulillah,” the Black Stars great said in a post on Twitter.
Andre Ayew will lead the team as the skipper for the Balck Stars of Ghana whiles Jordan Ayew is expected to play a key role for the team in the tournament.
Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup will be one of five African countries representing the continent. Ghana is the youngest team to have appeared at this year’s World Cup, with expectations high for them to perform well.
